1. Scope and Definitions

1.1 These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply when Thriftys AB (org. no. 5594697913) or any affiliated entity ("Thriftys", "we", "us") provides services to users ("you", "Customer", or "Seller") via our website thriftyscurated.com/.

1.2 By using our services or creating a seller profile, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable guidelines published on our website.

1.3 Thriftys operates a curated secondhand platform, where pre-approved Sellers submit fashion items for review and sale. Sales are commission-based.

2. Seller Requirements

To sell through Thriftys.Curated, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid Swedish personal identity number (personnummer)
  • Have a registered address and Swedish bank account in your name
  • Be the legal owner of the items you submit
  • Submit only authentic, non-counterfeit, and legal items
  • Complete identity verification via Stripe

3. Selling Process

  • Sellers must apply and be pre-approved before submitting items.
  • All submissions are reviewed to ensure alignment with our aesthetic and quality standards.
  • We accept only items in excellent condition and may reject any item at our discretion.
  • Accepted items are picked up and listed by our team.
  • Rejected items will be returned or donated.

4. Commissions & Payouts

  • 60% commission for items priced under 1,000 SEK
  • 70% commission for items priced at 1,000 SEK or more
  • Commission is paid only after the 14-day return period ends without a return
  • Payouts are made automatically via Stripe to your bank account

4A. Pricing and Promotions

  • Thriftys may adjust item prices at any time, including during promotions, sales on older collections, or due to market conditions.
  • Price changes may occur after an item is listed.
  • Seller commission is calculated on the final sale price, regardless of the original listing price.
  • We do not guarantee a fixed price or listing duration.

5. Stripe Identity Verification

All Sellers must complete Stripe identity verification before any items are listed. Verification is required to ensure secure payouts, comply with financial regulations, and prevent fraud.

6. Tax Compliance (DAC7)

As per EU DAC7 regulations, Thriftys is required to report seller earnings. If a Seller lists 30+ items or earns over €2,000 in a calendar year, additional tax information must be submitted via Stripe. Failure to comply may result in payout holds or account restrictions.

7. Product Ownership & Authenticity

  • Sellers confirm they are the legal owners of all submitted items.
  • Items must be authentic and not counterfeit, stolen, or otherwise prohibited.
  • Thriftys reserves the right to withhold or report any such items.

8. Customer Orders

  • Adding items to the cart does not create a binding contract.
  • A binding purchase occurs when the customer clicks “Complete Purchase”.
  • Customers receive an order confirmation and receipt by email.

9. Delivery & Shipping

  • All orders are shipped from Sweden to destinations within Europe.
  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on delivery address.
  • Buyers pay shipping; fees are shown before completing the purchase.
  • We aim to ship within 24 hours of purchase.
  • We ship only within the EU; no additional customs duties or VAT should apply.

10. Payment Methods

We accept the following standard payment methods:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Klarna
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Shop Pay

Note: The exact options shown at checkout depend on your device, location, and our currently enabled gateways.

11. Returns & Withdrawal Rights

  • Customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt.
  • Commission-based orders also include a 14-day voluntary return window.
  • If the item is returned, the Seller does not receive commission.
  • Returned items must be in original condition.
  • Return shipping is paid by the customer.

12. Complaints & Warranty

Customers can file a complaint for defective items within 3 years of purchase.

13. Data Privacy

All personal data is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For details, see our Privacy Policy on thriftyscurated.com/.

14. Changes to Terms

Thriftys may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect immediately upon publication on our website.

15. Severability Clause

If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
